Aventura is a small chamber choir with around dedicated singers.
It was founded in 1984 by Ellen Hess Thaysen. Dorte Klingenberg Iversen became the choir's conductor in 1997. The choir performs in churches, art galleries, museums and at private functions, both in Denmark and abroad.

In addition, the choir has conceived and performed several themed concerts, handling topics such as "800 years of Danish music" or a concert on the subject of war.
The choir's strength lies in its versatility; we concentrate on achieving the different tonalities and techniques demanded by e.g. medieval, renaissance, romantic and modern compositions respectively.
